We’re so excited to celebrate with you — and we want your journey to be as smooth and stress-free as possible!
Whether you're a seasoned cruiser or setting sail for the first time, we’ve gathered all the details you’ll need to plan your trip with ease. From cruise port tips to airport info and hotel suggestions, this section has everything to help you get from your doorstep to the ship — relaxed and ready for adventure.
Let’s make this celebration smooth sailing from start to finish!
Our ship sets sail from:
Port of Miami
We recommend arriving at least one day early to avoid any travel delays and ensure you’re ready to board on time.
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) primarily utilizes Terminal B at Port of Miami, also known as The Pearl of Miami. This terminal is specifically designed to accommodate NCL's larger Prima-class vessels. However, on occasion, NCL may also utilize Terminal C.
Miami International Airport (MIA) – 20 minutes to cruise terminal
Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) – 45 minutes to cruise terminal
Making the Drive
If you're planning to drive to Miami, no problem — you'll need to arrange for parking while you're at sea. We recommend arriving early and reserving parking in advance if possible. That way, you can park it, lock it, and start your vacation without a worry in the world!
Parking at Terminal: Port of Miami charges $22/daily
Outsourced Parking in Miami: Premier Cruise Parking (PortMiami) $10.50/daily offers shuttles to cruise terminal every 30 minutes
If you're arriving early (which we recommend!), here are a few nearby hotels with easy access to the cruise port:
Holiday Inn Port of Miami-Downtown by IHG – Affordable & close to port
DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay– Higher-end with water views
Passports are strongly recommended for Caribbean cruises.
If you’re a U.S. citizen and sailing a closed-loop cruise (starting and ending at the same U.S. port), you may use a government-issued photo ID and original birth certificate — but a passport is highly preferred in case of emergencies.
Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is the easiest and most flexible option from the airport or hotel.
Cruise line shuttle services may also be available — we’ll post info here once group options are confirmed.
Boarding typically begins around 12:00 PM.
We recommend arriving to the port no later than 11:00 AM.
Have your Identification Paperwork on your person (not packed in your suitcase).
Reminder:Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) primarily utilizes Terminal B at Port of Miami, also known as The Pearl of Miami. This terminal is specifically designed to accommodate NCL's ships, including the larger Prima-class vessels. However, on occasion, NCL may also utilize Terminal C. The exact Terminal will be located on your Cruise Boarding paperwork
Cruise Line embarks at 5:30 PM
